TOP LEVEL COACHING
We are proud to have Martin Brown (aka Smiley), a distinguished Shropshire native and champion in BMX and Four-cross racing, committed to Telford Flyers. Smiley is a BMX British Champion, 2x National Champion, and Four-cross MTB British Champion. Smiley coaches riders of all levels at the Dawley BMX track, working with everyone from toddlers on balance bikes to world-ranked athletes, sharing his expertise and passion for the sport.
A SAFE ENVIRONMENT
As a British Cycling-affiliated club, we offer a wide range of cycling opportunities and events, from BMX racing and cyclocross to balance bikes and trials riding. Our team of dedicated volunteers is committed to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where riders of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can thrive—physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL
We are extremely proud to be the first and only club in the country to be awarded Limitless BMX Status, a status awarded to clubs providing cycling opportunities for disabled people, regardless of age, impairment and ability. With elite coaching, national-level facilities, and a strong sense of community, Telford Flyers is the perfect place to develop new skills or take your cycling to the next level. MIDLANDS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Telford Flyers BMX club had the incredible honour of hosting the Midlands Championships—a true testament to the passion and dedication of our BMX family. With many of our members new to racing, their teamwork and determination made this event an unforgettable success. A huge effort, an incredible atmosphere, and a cracker of a day that showcased what our club is all about!
